With over 20 years of combined experience in finance and recruiting, Jay is a trusted and well-rounded recruiter based in Tampa, Florida. In his current role as Independent Director – Placement Services, Jay helps connect great companies with top talent across the accounting and finance, construction/engineering, and legal industries—working with clients and candidates nationwide.
Jay’s career began in finance, where he built a strong foundation before transitioning into recruiting. That hands-on experience allows him to truly understand what hiring managers and job seekers are looking for—and to make connections that last.
A proud Auburn University graduate with a BSBA in Accounting, Jay also served in the U.S. Navy’s elite Naval Nuclear Power Program, spending time aboard the USS Tunny (SSN-682) submarine. That experience shaped his work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence—traits he brings to every search.
