Erica Geurtse is a seasoned talent acquisition leader with a deep specialization in life sciences recruitment. Based in Leonardo, New Jersey, she brings nearly two decades of experience supporting organizations across clinical, scientific, biotech, and human and animal health fields.

Erica began her professional journey after earning her Bachelor’s Degree from the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising. She launched her career in retail before discovering her passion for recruitment in 2007. Her early work at Delta T Group focused on staffing mentors and counselors for children supported by DYFS, laying the foundation for her people-centric, mission-driven approach to talent acquisition.

In 2008, Erica joined Joule, where she spent more than a decade developing deep expertise within the life sciences industry. During her tenure, she rose through multiple roles—from Recruiter to Senior Recruiter, Recruiter Consultant, and eventually Recruiting Manager. Her leadership, industry knowledge, and ability to understand the scientific nuances behind specialized roles made her a trusted partner to both candidates and clients.

Erica continued to expand her impact when she joined Korn Ferry in 2019, serving within the firm’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) practice. There, she supported global life sciences organizations and further strengthened her understanding of talent needs across research, clinical development, and biotech innovation.

Most recently, Erica transitioned to RIM, where she brings her extensive background and strategic recruitment approach to a new chapter of supporting scientific and life sciences organizations in achieving their mission-critical goals.
