Jim LaRosa is an Independent Director, Placement Services with RIM Recruitment Professionals, where he focuses on legal search engagements for law firms, corporate legal departments, and other institutional clients nationally.

Jim’s practice covers the full range of legal talent: associates, counsel, partners and practice groups, and in-house counsel roles from General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel through Compliance and Regulatory. His advisory work extends beyond individual placements to law firm expansion, lateral partner strategy, practice group recruitment, law firm combinations and acquisitions, and succession planning. 

Jim also has significant experience providing interim, contract, fractional, and project-based legal talent solutions.

Jim brings more than two decades of legal search experience. He co-founded JURISolutions and JSL Legal Search, an independently owned legal search and staffing platform, and served as the first external Career Planning and Placement Coordinator for the Philadelphia Bar Association from 1998 to 2008, a role that helped JURISolutions become the first legal placement firm formally endorsed by the PBA.

Jim is the founder of November Legal Search.
