CHALLENGE: One of the world’s largest security and logistics companies had been frustrated with their previous recruitment agency partners. They were seeking an agency that would understand their unique company culture and one that would effectively represent their organization to potential new employees. They also were looking for an agency that could meet their immediate staffing demands as they were heading into one of their busiest business cycles. They were looking to increase headcount of approximately 20 permanent staff in many of their locations, as well as close to 50 temporary Customer Service Representatives; some of which could work remotely, while some were required to be on-site at their head-office location.

SOLUTION: Firstly, RIM Representatives personally met with key company decision makers, hiring managers, and Human Resource executives, at the company’s head-office, in order to understand the company’s culture and their mission & values statement. Based on this analysis, we worked with the company to put together a plan that would address their permanent and temporary hiring needs. Part of this unique solution was to ensure that the company had a clear idea as to the overall cost of the project, as well as to provide the company with detailed reporting as to the progress of all recruitment initiatives. RIM also was able to provide the company with one main point-of-contact to ensure that all questions were filtered effectively and would be addressed immediately, if required. We determined that we would require one RIM team of 4 people to assist with the direct-hire recruitment efforts, and a separate RIM recruitment team of 6 people to focus on the temporary hires.

RESULTS: Within 60 days, we assisted with fully staffing the temporary Customer Service Representative positions. This included managing all of the administrative and payroll related requirements, managing the time-sheet process, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all the temporary staff on a weekly basis, and managing the entire onboarding and offboarding process as needed. In addition, we assisted with filling the majority of the company’s permanent openings ahead of the projected 3-month time frame. The company was mmensely satisifed and we continue to work closely with them for their ongoing recruitment efforts.
